Berea Spring Gala 2026
For over a century, Saint Joseph Berea has stood as a pillar of health and healing within our community. Since its founding in 1898, our hospital has continually adapted and grown, evolving alongside the needs of the people we serve. Today, this rich history and unwavering commitment to serving with kindness remains the heart of everything we do.
The theme for the 2026 Spring Gala, “Swing into Spring,” does more than just evoke the lively spirit of the season—it underscored our commitment to supporting one of our most vital services: the swing bed program. Our swing bed program is an essential component of the care continuum, offering a crucial bridge for patients who have been discharged from acute hospital care but still require certain medical services, specialized nursing, or focused rehabilitation therapy. These services are delivered in a comforting, less acute hospital setting. This essential program improves both the physical and emotional well-being of our patients during a critical phase of their recovery.
The proceeds from this year’s Gala were dedicated to funding the purchase of essential medical and physical rehabilitation equipment for our swing bed program. This new equipment will enhance the quality of care we provide, helping more patients achieve their full recovery potential and transition successfully back into their homes.
